Rock Posters Tour at Archipelago feat. The Firehouse Kustom Rockart Company (Chuck Sperry & Ron Donovan)

To mark the opening of the new screen printing studio at Archipelago, the gallery is staging a two-day show of highly collectable US and British Rock Art posters. The show will feature the work of the prolific rock poster creators Chuck Sperry and Ron Donovan of San Francisco's FIREHOUSE KUSTOM ROCKART COMPANY -  who will be blazing through the UK during the month of June for an incendiary rock art poster tour. The form is resurgent on both sides of the Atlantic and there will be workshops discussing techniques and design approaches on the evenings of 17th and 18th June.

Also on view will the work of Sheffield's own Martin Bedford, who's pioneering designs for the Leadmill during the 1980s and early '90s set a new benchmark for promotional design for gigs and events in the city.
