We are offering artists and groups the opportunity
to use a clean contemporary art space for their own shows. Located at 748 Ecclesall Rd, formerly the premises of Jam hair
salon. (Jam have moved - now at Oakbrook Road, Nethergreen tel 0114 230 2894)

Rates 2007-8
The gallery is available on a weekly basis, subject to the payment to the gallery of
a weekly flat rate commission, from Monday 3pm to Monday 12 noon. Opening hours: the space may be open to the public between
9.00am and 9.00pm
1 week: £550.00 flat rate commission paid to the gallery
2 consecutive
weeks or longer: £425.00 flat rate commission paid to the gallery
What's included
1. Full use of the premises, including full prep kitchen facilities, wine
glasses, alarm system.
2. One private view evening is included per week, catering cost to be paid by exhibitor.
3.
Use of the gallery's easels and plinths of various sizes.
4. Where possible, the gallery will advise on hanging
and framing of artwork.
5. We will include details of exhibitions on our website, as far in advance
as possible and for one year after. We will also include a notification of the exhibition in our monthly email newletter.
Please telephone for late availability and reduced rates, and
repeat bookings. Reductions available for degree shows and colleges
Booking bits and pieces
1. A reservation deposit of £200 per week is required to secure
a booking, which is non-refundable.
2. Full payment of the balance is due 3 weeks prior to the exhibition.
3. For cancellations received in writing between 3 weeks and 2 weeks before the exhibition, 50% refund will be made. For
cancellations received in writing between 2 weeks and 1 week before the exhibition, 25% refund will be made. For cancellations
received in writing less than 1 week before the exhibition, no refund will be given.
5. It is the
responsibility of the artist/group to promote and man their own exhibitions. The gallery does not provide any mailing lists
and does not place advertisements of exhibitions at its own expense.
6. On leaving the gallery after an exhibition,
the artist/group must ensure the space is clean and tidy, the floors must be cleaned and any marks on the walls be removed.
